Scam Email Alert

Please be aware that recently our staff have been the target of phishing scams and as a result have received fake emails that claim to be from one of our directors. While there has been no data breach and no emails have been sent externally, we would like our clients to be aware and vigilant when receiving emails, as this is the second attempt in as many months.

The four main warning signs to look out for with phishing scams are an unfamiliar greeting, grammatical and misspelled words, email addresses and domain names not matching and finally, unusual content or requests, i.e. requesting the transfer of funds or login credentials.

Any email coming from Rawcliffe & Co will end with @rawcliffeco.com. If for any reason you are uncertain of an email you have received, then please do not hesitate to contact us. You can do this either by phone 01253 798812, direct message on social media or by emailing info@rawcliffeco.com
