FLOOD UPDATE: Apologies for any inconvenience caused, however we just wanted to give you an update on the flood at our Whitehills Business Park office.

As you can see from the picture of our reception, the mains water, has completely flooded the ground floor of the office as of Sunday. The ceiling has completely come down and the flood has destroyed our server, electrics, broadband and phone lines.

On a positive note, our payroll department have been running since Tuesday and are dealing with the backlog as quickly as possible, so please bear with them, they are working as fast as they can to get everyone up to date.

Our VAT department are working from home until we can move them into one of our offices at either Bispham or Poulton. Please note that at this time, they only have access to cloud-based servers, such as Xero.

Our phones lines are struggling to cope right now because they are digital and require the internet to work, which was destroyed in the flood, so we are working from a temporary 4G hotspot whilst our IT team have this in hand and are dealing with this immediately. We recommend that you email wherever possible, so we can get back to you quicker.

Due to the damage caused by the flood, we do not expect to be able to reuse the Whitehills office until after Christmas, at the earliest, however we will keep you updated.

If you need to drop records off, please do so at either our Bispham office or our Poulton office. Post is still being collected from Blackpool on a daily basis, by a Director, so you can keep posting information there, however under no circumstances should anyone be travelling to this office, as you cannot enter the building.

We shall keep you updated as and when we have more information, but for now, we continue to ask for you to bear with us and apologies again for any inconvenience caused however we do have everything in hand.

Kind Regards,

Rawcliffe & Co
